Default Leaderships Focus is not on Class 1 Rating

Will We Ever Recover From Hurricane Katrina

Katrina destroyed many lives and property as we all know, but for a fire department located in Jefferson parish it has been an ongoing battle between its firefighters and incompetent administrators that has its focus on hurting the firefighters that risk their lives daily, These administrators should have their focus on improving service to their citizens but instead have constantly ignored safety issues, state laws, recklessly spent tax dollars and has jeopardized its class 1 rating!!

Might I add administrators have made very little improvements to prepare for another disaster similar to Katrina Etc. Actually we are probably less prepared then we were for Katrina.

On January 14 2009 the parish council will vote on issues that will hurt its firefighters and possibly lose our class 1 fire rating!!
There has been very little discussion if any between the council and the citizens or its firefighters. They seem to have on the top of their agenda to vote on these issues blindly and at the same time ignore the firefighters request to investigate its incompetent administrators that continue to risk citizens and firefighters lives daily since Katrina.
